How the human resource (HR) function adds strategic value: A relational perspective of the HR function

In the present article, we propose concept of HR function's relational activities and examine its influence on firm's human capital resources (HCRs) performance. Integrating insights from various streams research in strategic resource management (HRM) capital, develop a perspective function as advisory informative toward internal stakeholders (i.e., line managers, employees, senior managers) to help meet their goals needs. our framework, theorize how lead superior firm performance by enhancing HCRs identify systems losses factors that complement necessitate activities, respectively. Using five-wave, nationally representative panel dataset covering 1415 observations, find robust support for hypotheses: were positively related HCRs, which was more pronounced when coupled with high levels losses.
